Over the past two decades I’ve been working with over 5,000 adult guitar players getting them to finally play awesome guitar solos.

What I have found is that long time guitar players who still can’t freely improvise are usually stuck in what I call the “pentatonic noodling stage”. They are good at playing a few pentatonic licks, but when it comes time to improvising they don’t really know what to play and can’t really express themselves on the guitar.
